Can you hear the aircraft above being under the flight path?

No, never have. Up very high :-) occasional goons on old bay road going past but that’s it.

The planes do fly over but 1) it's not constant and 2) they are too high to make a real noise. You can hear when a plane is passing by but it's more like a distant sound - nothing that you would consider loud or an interruption.
