No water supply issues. A new pipe line was built several years ago to supply water from Warragamba Dam (not sure of the name of the dam). No more water shortages. Water is drinkable.

Water is Goulburn is pretty good. I personally have never had a problem with Goulburn water. Though my mother in law for example doesn't drink water out of the tap and uses only filtered water.
I have heard some people say that the water makes them very sick and it's quite often that people will buy bottled water.
Let's just say, all water bowls for animals, should be cleaned every one to two days to avoid slime and brown bowls..

Thanks for your answer, Ebony. I hadn't considered the quality of water. I was actually thinking about the availability of water in the summer months. Here in Tamworth, there are usually water restrictions for people on town water. We are out of town so we're on tank water and we have to watch our water usage in summer otherwise we'd have to pay to have it carted. Does Goulburn have regular water restrictions in the summer months? Does Goulburn get much rain?
