Good question! It is expensive! And they change the rules on you.... Recent real example, a lease for 50 years, made 25 years ago is now simply expired at the liberty of the Cemetary Board who decided to change the timeline and failed to inform anyone. Only found out because a family burial was required and was told when arrangements were being made! Another fee of many thousands of $$$ payable to keep the plot available for another 25 years, despite the original invoice being produced.
