"Deadly snakes and cane toads and the humid heat. Have a pool is mandatory"

I was bitten by a whip snake and almost died. My pets died mysteriously. There’s always snakes sliding up walls or weird neighbours with trams or flying drones over your property. The cane toads are everywhere and give you a fright when you’re walking as they look like death adders sometimes in the dry grass.

Bayswater North

"Very friendly, country like area,"

I live in Elmhurst rd Bayswater North and I love the area. The street I live in is full of units and some houses . A lot of middle aged people or retirees are on this street. It’s very well kept and people seem to look after their gardens which is always a good sign because it shows they care. There are a lot of friendly dog walkers and bike riders in the area as the bike tracks are exceptional as is public transport and recreational areas of all kinds. The bp service station on the corner is very handy and very friendly people work there. I always check people number plates if parked in the street and report them to council if the car is unregistered to keep the riff raff out. Council inspectors are out the same day or the next morning if I report an unregistered or stolen vehicle which has happened once before and I watched the 6 police officers arrest the guy at 2am in the morning after I reported it. It was very exciting to watch!!! I’ve lived in victoria my whole life including the following suburbs for at least 3 years: PAKENHAM, Endeavour Hills, aspendale, noble park, springvale south.

Bet, like me you're sorry you left pakky to come to this dump, then again no excitement there with 2am police arrests

No, I choose where I live in Bayswater North over Pakenham because of location to population and all the benefits that brings , and bicycle path access to the whole of metropolitan Melbourne and beyond. I mean I can ride my bike for 40mins and sit alone in the dandenong rainforest surrounded by lyrebirds or ride to the coast or the CBD within an hour and a half or a 20 min drive to Lower homestead rd Wonga Park for some Yarra River kayaking. The key is to have good neighbours and a quiet modern brick house. Ie: double glazing and internal access to the garage. I have all of these which makes living so much better for peace and quiet inside.

Post script, our neighbours were criminals in Bayswater North, hence my opinion, but now we have Roos, walking paths to the dozen, garden full of colour, double glazing and easy wheelchair access
