Queenstown

"Finally moved to Queenstown!"

After all the helpful comments on this site we finally moved to Queenstown.
The locals are very friendly and welcoming to new residents too. Most people know each other which is nice, actually knowing my neighbors who regularly bring us fresh garden produce.
The Council does a great job working with the community to provide and maintain services. We didn't realise there were so many service available in Queenstown as most of the business and community events are only seen through Facebook.
There are some great schools in Queenstown and the business actually care about their customers. The West Coast Hospital in Queenstown also has great service, much more than we initially thought.
I almost forgot to mention there are heaps of cafes, restaurants and even a few taverns.

Rosebery

"A great little town with fantasitcally prices properties and huge potential for business"

Rosebery is a fantastic little town.
There are huge opportunities for new business as you would get all the locals and surrounding towns on the West Coast. If you are looking for a small country town change Rosebery has a great community.

Strahan

"A beautiful town, it really need fresh seafood"

Strahan is a beautiful town however, it can be quite windy at times.
There are many great accommodation choices around though it can be hard finding a place to eat as you can never tell when a restaurant or cafe will be open.
The only seafood in town is never open at a decent time, which is why I believe resident from near by town rarely visit.
There would be a great market for new business such as tradies, cafe/restaurant (that are actually open) and activity providers in Strahan.
