"Peaceful acreage close to town"
Preston has great size blocks 1ha+ and hard to come by a property as they are held on pretty tight. Only 10min drive to main shopping centre and only 1.50 to Brisbane CBD & good schools 15min. Great for horse and nature lovers. Preston Peak Winery offers group booking for wedding and functions, Preston Manor manor the same but also runs a great restaurant and does pizzas and music on Friday nights. Sitting at at elevation of 680m above sea level it offers a cooler climate year round than the coastal regions of Queensland which is great as you experience the seasons with a nice fireplace running during the winter. People are friendly and have usually been in the area for a long time. Predominantly owner occupied houses in the area.

"Top place to live on Northern Gold Coast"
Very popular security estate with body corporate (about 5 in total) Has great facilities at the Harbour Area including a tavern, cafe, chemist, IGA (just opened Jan 2017), medical centre and other smaller businesses. Blocks are good sizes and it has a very good friendly feel to it. Also patrolled by security company and has lots of great walking tracks. Away from the hustle and bustle and low in rentals (centre and eastern side) The 2 rec clubs have pools, tennis courts, BBQ areas & gym. Fast internet which is always a plus and people are friendly and layed back.
Great for
- Good size blocks
- Good neighbours
- Quite and peacful
Not great for
- Mozzies
- Body corporate can be picky

Hi there what do you mean by the body corporate can be picky? About what, just thinking of buying in the area so wondered. Thanks
Depending on the area within coomera waters you live in (there are 5 body corporates within here) we are impeccable and find body Corp expensive but you pay for what you get
"Upper Coomera -- its gonna boom, love the area :)"
Been living here in Upper Coomera for 1.5 years now, we bought a house; lovely area, quiet and lots of open spaces. 5 minutes to Coomera train station, 40 minutes to Brisbane and 20 minutes to the coast, new developments popping up everywhere. New Servo (BP) and KFC planned for next year next to the newly opened Mcdonalds right next the the woolworths. Coomera town centre will also be great addition to the area once its completed.
