Yes, Virginia Ave is one of those streets that you visit on a Sunday drive, and say,"If only!" I know this street quite well as close relatives have lived there for many years. Most of the homes on one side have river frontages and I believe there are only 200 or so of these available on the Brisbane River. My relative lived in one of the classic old homes. Unfortunately many have been bulldozed and replaced with modern monstrosities, but they still command millions on dollars.
In a city that has no harbour, you don't get much better than this. A beautiful, quiet street, on the river, within walking distance to the ferry (but if you could afford to live here you would probably never need catch public transport!!!)
If you've got millions, go for it!!!
