Noosa Heads

"Noosa -Great place to live or holiday"

Noosa is the most northerly part of the Sunshine Coast and a Mecca for not only tourists but a great place to live or retire. Noosa has a laid back beach style and has a sub tropical climate. There are beaches to suit all with a lagoon type beach for families and surf beaches for those wanting to ride the waves. There are numerous shopping facilities as well as many cafes and restaurants. There is accommodation to suit all budgets including caravan parks, motels and resorts. Due to the locations and the great atmosphere Noosa has become a very popular place to live and retire which has forced home prices up. Definitely not in the price range for a first home buyer.

"Coomera -Nice place, shame about the State School"

Coomera is located at the northern end of the Gold Coast and is a new suburb with continued growth. This area has been expanded by builders and developers into a highly sort after area with prices lower than most other Gold Coast areas. There are several shopping centers with supermarkets and specialty shops and medical centers. The Lost City Hotel offers food and entertainment and you are only minutes from Dreamworld. Although there are a few fine private schools in the area the one blot on the area is Upper Coomera State College. This primary and secondary school combined is one of the worst schools in the area for discipline problems and unruly behavior. Use the Catholic and private schools.
