"There's nothing here"
Fawkner is just a suburban wasteland, with no nice parks or fields or anything.
U havent been to the fawkner then,try jukes road, bonwick market,smith reserve, merri creek,plenty of parks,safe and friendly
"Not a nice suburb to live or visit"
Go check it out and you'll see. Perhaps hang out at the shopping centre and you'll see. I'd give it less than 1 star if I could.

"Lots of Crime and Visitors"
Lots of crime, lots of druggies, lots of tourists. If you like that, then you'll like St Kilda.
You obviously live in one of those outer western suburbs! Hahaha. Poor you.
"One of the worst suburbs in Melbourne"
As per the title, unfortunately, Sunshine isn't a good place. If you're thinking of moving there, make sure you check out the town centre and see the types of people loitering around there.
Beverley has a valid point Nick. Just walk there during the day and you will see why a large amount of people who live in and around Sunshine do not shop their. Hang around the cash converters and the methadone clinic across the road from cash converters and see the drug dealing
The main street from the railway station with the old restaurants and shops would be one of the worst in Melbourne not the actual suburb that surrounds it. There is a new main shopping centre called Home Co and precinct emerging on Ballarat road near the Duke street intersection and around there.
"River Suburb"
I've lived in Aberfeldie for two years and love it. Perfect for walking along the Maribyrnong walking/jogging path. North and Eight Café is one of the best cafe's in Melbourne. Nice people in the suburb, no ferals, or druggies, or bogans. Not many rentals, mainly families that take pride in their homes and gardens.

There's 4 parks and plenty of fields , I'm not sure were u went to fawkner but clearly u haven't seen all of it
