"Tranmere, Where Else Would You Live????"
Tranmere is an excellent suburb, with most of the facilities.15 minutes and your in the city! You have got surrounding shopping centers in different suburbs surrounding Tranmere: Newton, Burnside (takes 15 minutes in current traffic) and among others.
Also, Tranmere is absolutely friendly with the most friendliness people you will know! The 'Nightlife' here isn't very good. There isn't much things to do here at night, however, drive to the city or catch the excellent Pubic Transport from (which is the closest to Tranmere) its probably Paradise Interchange. The houses here before were old, now turned into courtyard homes to more expensive larger homes.
The parks here are EXCELLENT!! The Gums Recreation Ground is the excellent park (Tennyson Avenue, Tranmere). The facilities here are fantastic with walking trails, benches, huge land space for the adults and kids, and other.
Tranmere will boom in the future...and its going through it very quickly with the suburb bulldozed and turned into a familys paradise...
P.S: Why is "Safe & Sound" been selected in the NOT GREAT FOR SELECTON? It should be in the GREAT FOR, with other ones which should be in there:

"It Dosen't Get Much Better Than Windsor Gardens!"
Windsor Gardens is located in the heart of The City of Port Adelaide Enfield, with some excellent facilities. Public Transport is inspiring with buses running on the Adelaide O' Bahn, Paradise Interchange, and Klemzig Station. Windsor Gardens has well-kept parks, River Torrens is excellent for having a BBQ on a lovely day, kids (and adults) riding there bikes, and feeding the ducks and pelicans is a real highlight!
It is incredibly safe and peaceful 24/7! Its only 15 mins from the city. So move to Windsor Gardens and fall in love!!
P.S: The neighbours are lovely and friendly, the actually say hello when you are walking in the street, parks or along the River Torrens.

"Sefton Park Is Excellent!"
Sefton Park is not too far from the city. Probably about 10 mins.
There arent any parks in the area, so you will need to drive to other suburbs which is quite frustrating.
Shopping is easy with Sefton Plaza, Regency Plaza, Northpark Shopping Centre, Tea Tree Plaza, O'Connell Street, and Rundle Mall.
So most of it is all here.

"Mansfield Park..."
My friend lives in Mansfield Park and he loves it. He lives near Reg Robinson Reserve. He told me its very safe, and very peaceful. The only thing bad my friend says is that the 'Nightlife' on Hanson Road is terrible to say the least. The parks are very well kept. There is some graffiti on the new playground, which is very disappointing!
Hopefully you can find a lovely home in Mansfield Park and have a quiet lifestyle.

"Broadview, A Area for Families with Kids."
Broadview is a nice old area, with the lovely old bungalows now replaced with new courtyards and more larger homes.
It's only 10 mins to the city. But with Public Transport, it probably be 15 mins.
Parking is great here, so it is great when families and friends come visiting you.
It is also peaceful and family friendly.
Traffic is bad on Main North Road with all those cars either heading to North Adelaide or the CBD.
The price tag is quite common here, but it all depends on the house.
I don't know how safe it is, but I just marked 5 stars. You can answer that on my question, if you can find it. I wrote: "Is Broadview a safe area?"
There is a lovely park in the area called Broadview Oval. It very green, but it is excellent for playing a match of footy, soccer, cricket, an much more.
So come over here and have a look at Broadview. Its going to be looking good in the future!
Great for
- The excellent Broadview Oval
- Peacefull and family friendly
- Close to city
Not great for
- Traffic on Main North Road can be a pain in peak hours
- The price tag, depending on what the house is like

"Mawson Lakes. Home to Technology Park!"
Mawson Lakes is a northern to western suburb. It offers a whole range of varieties for everyone to choose from. Mawson Lakes has a lot of eateries to choose from. The point I love about Mawson Lakes is the lakes and parks. They are really well kept and kids love them.
Mawson Lakes is the Greenest in South Australia because of the no water restrictions.
The suburb is home to Technology Park, were their are offices and UniSA Mawson Lakes Campus.
Getting into the city isn't too difficult because, you have the incredible Mawson Lakes Interchange. Buses running bus after bus then either heading up to the northern suburbs or into the CBD. Getting into the city in the mornings on Sailsbury Highway is terrible. Luckily, you have Main North Road to cheer you up. Why this? Because its not that busy on some days.
The friendliness in Mawson Lakes is super friendly! Either in the parks or walking trails along the lakes, you will find that the people here are super friendly, they will be happy to say "Good Day" or "Hello" I find it incredibly safe. The one bad point is the internet. So, you will need to get a internet set top box (I think there not that expensive to buy)
So move to Mawson Lakes and fall in love! Make sure to buy a internet set top box!
P.S: How long does it take from Mawson Lakes to get to the city? Anyone of you can answer that on my question: "How long does it take from Mawson Lakes to get into the city with current traffic?" Thanks.

- Friendliness
- Parks, lakes,
- Security
- Beautiful, clean, incredibly green, safe, quiet, and friendly neighbourhood

"Burnside. Very lovely area!!!"
Burnside is one of the best suburbs in Adelaide. Only 10 mins to the CBD. Very wide streets (which is great for when visitors come vistiting, parking is easy!) Very good Internet Access. There isn't much Nightlife in Burnside, but luckily your just 10 mins to the city (30 mins in peak hour)
So move to Burnside!
Great for

A lovely part of town.I am not happy that with a few exceptions they have turned Burnside Village into this fashion heaven for designer label lovers though. It could do with a food court.
"Walkley Heights, A Lovely Area for Anyone!"
Walkley Heights is a lovely new area with well landscape gardens and lots of new houses. The block sizes tend to be big in Walkley Heights. Parking is also great in some streets. I don't know how long it takes in Walkley Heights to get to the CBD, but you can make a comment about it if you want to. Walkley Heights has great parks, walking trails, and big playgrounds in the area. It is incredibly safe and peaceful.
Shopping is easy access with Tea Tree Plaza, Walkley Heights Plaza (Corner of Wright Road and RM Williams Drive) with Foodland, Bakers Delight, and other shops here. Public Transport is marvelous! They are ALL stopping in bus stops in Walkley Heights, then heading to the city.
Come here and see for yourself what you think. Move to sunny Walkley Heights and fall in love!!!

"Not my cup of tea...."
Great for
- Public transport is regular
- Shopping
- Eating Out- Restaurant
Not great for
- Problem school kids
- House break-ins
- Vandalism
- Burn outs and hoons
You're being very short sighted about the area. There is so much here, the wide open spaces, good medical services, close to the country and city. I've lived here for nearly 12 yrs now and have NEVER experienced any of the negative things some of the reviewers stated. The neighbours are lovely and I can walk to all the shops and can't wait for Aldi. I have everything I need right here and wouldn't live anywhere else.
Wendy, your basically saying Blakeview is fantastic *only* for its amenities. If people have had more problems than what you have, sorry for being harsh, but I'm going to have to agree with all negatives about Blakeview. Trust me, I've visited this place before and while it may look nice and attractive, it hides a secret - unsafe, unpeaceful and horrible people.
Every area has good, and horrible people by the way.
"Modbury Is Great, But Tea Tree Plaza.... Hmmm...."
Modbury is great. Its a great location with great shops.
With great shops, Tea Tree Plaza is full of hoons!!! One day, I went to TTP (Tea Tree Plaza) then I noticed there were skid marks everywhere!! I would not like to be here at night!
Great for
- Civic Park fantastic play ground and bbq spot
- Minutes walk to TTP Westfield shopping centre
- So close to public transport very regular including Obahn
Not great for
- Tea Tree Plaza is full of hoons on a Friday and Saturday night!!

I don't know about the Hoons Though but it's a great shopping mall with everything you need.Yes I have been to Singapore and they have these kinds of shopping facilities on a bigger and grander scale but there's something about the Plaza that draws me there whether it be an escapism from the stuffiness of the Eastern Suburbs or needing a change.
Yeah. I LOVE TTP, but I'm just saying that there are skidmarks there, towards the back of the car park. I'm not saying anything about Tea Tree Plaza, just the hoons...
